About this planner and its data
Satisfactory Planner is an independent fan project for planning production, checking game references and understanding factory trade-offs. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Coffee Stain Studios.
What this site provides
The interactive planner calculates machines, recipes, transport and power for your chosen output rates. The reference library publishes item, building and vehicle data as readable pages. The guides explain how those numbers affect a working factory, with interactive calculators where useful. Factory plans are stored in your browser; export backups for safekeeping.
Game data and provenance
The bundled snapshot identifies game version 1.2.4.0, changelist 502094, extracted on . This is the data extraction date, not a claim that every article was edited on that date or that the snapshot is the newest game release.
- Items, recipe ingredients, output rates, machinery and fuels are derived from the game's CommunityResources/Docs data by the included extraction scripts.
- The Codex adds descriptions, build costs, crafting, schematics and unlock relationships. Map locations, resource purity and world finds are extracted from game assets. These reflect the default world, not a player's randomized seed or custom settings.
- World extraction ceilings in the planner are maintained separately from individual map counts. The source script credits Satisfactory Tools for those limits and records comparison with upstream on 2026-09-24. They are planning constraints, not a measurement of your save.
- Worked production lines and alternate comparisons are generated by the planner's solver from that snapshot. Practical guide text is editorial explanation; quoted in-game descriptions remain game content.
Calculation assumptions
Recipe tables show one machine at 100% clock unless a table explicitly says otherwise. Solids use items per minute; liquids and gases use cubic metres per minute. Crafting and construction costs are one-time amounts. Displayed values are rounded for readability, while calculations use their underlying values.
Power, mining and fuel tables state their clock and purity assumptions. The interactive planner can apply selected recipes, resource limits, power shards and Somersloops. A mathematical balance does not simulate pipe pressure, startup transients, traffic, train schedules or the geometry of a factory. Allow buffers and check the real game when commissioning a build.
Scope and known limits
Data discrepancy for Limestone: the extracted map counts give 69,300 items/min with Mk.3 miners at 250% and Mk.6 belts, while the planner's separately maintained world limit is 69,900 items/min. Verify the deposits in your game and set a resource limit if needed before planning at this scale.
Updates can change recipes, assets and unlocks. Seasonal production recipes are not included in the main recipe dataset. Historical records can remain in game assets; clearly discontinued MAM entries are excluded from the actionable research checklist and its material totals. The reference does not invent missing recipes, unreleased expansion values or save-specific resource locations.
Open source and corrections
The planner source is available under GPL-3.0-or-later, with license and attribution information in the downloadable source archive. Satisfactory, its names and game assets belong to Coffee Stain Studios. See the official Satisfactory website for the game and announcements.
