Transport capacity: belts, trucks and trains
Trains, trucks and drones carry a whole load at a time, so how much they move depends on how far they go. A freight car holds 32 stacks, a truck 48, a tractor 25, an explorer 12 and a drone 9: twice as many parts a trip when the part stacks twice as high. The calculator works out how many it takes, with the stations at both ends and the power they draw; the trip times are estimates, since the files hold no speeds.
Belts carry solid items at a fixed rate a minute, the same for every item. A conveyor lift moves as much as the belt of the same mark. A line only runs as fast as its slowest piece, so one Mk.2 lift in a Mk.5 line holds it to 120 a minute.
Pipelines carry fluids and gases, measured in cubic metres a minute. The rate is a ceiling for everything in the pipe, and it takes pumps to push fluid uphill.
